Ebba L. Lopez’s world is an eclectic and harmonious blend of upholstery fabrics, handmade rugs, throws, wickerwork, mirrors, lighting, designer furniture, and treasures sourced locally or from her travels.
The Ebba L. Lopez boutique in Bonnieux offers a selection that celebrates the craftsmanship of artisans, unique pieces, and the art of handcraft applied to contemporary creations. Ebba meticulously chooses her suppliers, seeking out items with distinctive character.
“I'm always searching for unique finds, exclusive textiles, and furniture you won't see elsewhere. I want to know the story behind each piece and appreciate when there's an ethical aspect to its production. This space reflects my passion for interior design. Customers who visit the boutique often become clients for my interior design projects.”
Ebba L. Lopez offers a carefully curated and timeless selection of textiles. Among other things, you will find accessories, bags, shawls, poetic handcrafted creations in felted wool, and the sophistication and expertise of Belgian linen weavers known for their muted color palettes.
Among the esteemed textile editors in the boutique is Lemaitre Demeestere, one of the oldest linen weavers in France, of which Ebba L. Lopez is the collection curator. Additionally, Ebba offers handmade wool rugs, cushions, table linens, throws, and woven panels.
The boutique carries the Ressource paint collection, a French brand born in Provence and based in Avignon.
It also offers wallpapers, panels made from recycled paper, and artisanal tiles imported from Morocco.
Every object and piece of furniture displayed in the boutique has a unique story connected to its creation or origin. The theme of travel is prevalent, with ethnic influences from Asia, Portugal, Morocco, and Scandinavia – a nod to Ebba L. Lopez’s Swedish roots.
From lighting fixtures, mirrors, vases, baskets, and chairs to tableware, each piece from this eclectic selection will come to life in your home.
Ebba L. Lopez and her husband, glass artist Kiko López, have jointly created a furniture line called E&K.
E&K was born out of a realisation: finding a furniture line that is simultaneously simple, contemporary, and adaptable to any interior is challenging.
Ebba and Kiko work together to conceive bespoke consoles, coffee tables, and shelves that align with their philosophy: showcasing the material and artisanal craftsmanship.
A local blacksmith crafts the iron structure of each piece while Kiko handles the finishing touches. The tabletop is customisable, offering options like oak, glass, mosaic, or stone.
The E&K line effortlessly complements any style with its clean and functional design.
Ebba envisioned a space that would showcase the work of artists she admires. Some of their pieces are displayed in the boutique, serving as an invitation for visitors to explore the artist’s world and perhaps even find a personal favorite.
Among the artists featured by Ebba L. Lopez is her husband, glass artist Kiko López. His unique tableau mirrors, known as ‘Shadow Drawings,’ enjoy global acclaim, and his crystal decorative items are as luxurious as they are timeless.
The boutique also introduces visitors to other talents: carefully curated photographs, sculptures, and decorative objects are thoughtfully displayed.
